As part of its response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the IRS has taken steps to protect taxpayers by minimizing the need for in-person contact. For example, the IRS is temporarily allowing taxpayers to use electronic (or digital) signatures (e-signatures) on certain paper forms they can’t file electronically. The IRS has now extended this policy through Oct. 31, 2023. The forms with e-signatures must be signed and postmarked from Aug. 28, 2020, through Oct. 31, 2023. For the latest list of forms eligible for e-signatures visit: https://bit.ly/3F0LNLs  and scroll down to the subhead “Need to File a Form with a Digital Signature.” You can also contact us for additional details.  Call or visit our website for more information!  www.mjscpa.com/
